nApplications:
It can be applied in the electronic ballast of kinds of fluorescent lamps and electronic energy-saving lamps.No necessity to modify the circuitry.If proper thermistor is parallel connected on the two ends of resonant capacitor of lamps,cold startup of electronic ballast and electronic energy-saving lamps will turn into the Preheatstartup which can make the Preheatingtime reach 0.4-2S and extend the life of service to three times of the primary.

nCharacteristics:
Execution utilizing the characteristic of PTC material,Small size of product,High voltage resistance,Longevity of service,Low power when normally working.

nApplication principal:
Preheatstartup principium of PTC thermistor is showed in following chart:At initial moment of turning on the switch,R t is on normal temperature state,its resistance is far below that of C2 ,and the current passes through C 1 and R t and comes into being loop warming up the Filamnet,About 0.4-2s later,the temperature of R t exceeds courier temperature T c and jumps into the state of high resistance far over that of C 2 ,and the current passes through C 1 ,C 2 ,comes into being loop and results in LC resonance which generates high voltage to light the lamps.

nUsing gives an example

to apply the PTC thermistor realization preheating start following chart: When just closing switch, Rt is in the normal temperature condition, its resistance number is lower than the C2 resistance number, the electric current through the C1, Rt looping-in preheating filament.0.4-2 second, the Rt joule heat temperature surpasses Curie temperature Tc to leap forward high-resistance after approximately condition, its resistance number is higher than the C2 impedance, the electric current through C1, the C2 looping-in causes the L resonance, produces the high pressure to lighten the tube.

Speaking of some specific electronic ballast, the electronic energy conservation lamp, selects the PTC resistance number is bigger, the volume is smaller, a Curie temperature is lower, its power loss on smaller, a preheat interval is also shorter; Otherwise the power loss is bigger, the preheat interval is also longer
